Families,
FALL HAS ARRIVED!!
This is a great time of the year to
be taking walks, watching the leaves change colors and having our family
get-togethers.
This month we will continue learning
about letters, colors and shapes. We
will also learn about weather changes and all the symbols that are associated
with this time of the year.
During this month we will focus on
reading many fun books with your child.
Please discuss Community Workers in your child’s neighborhood. Visit special places like the post office,
walk by a fire house, go to the library, etc. to learn more about their special
jobs.
Continue to encourage Self-Help
skills in your child. This is the time
for them to be learning to pull their pants up and down, putting on their socks
and their shoes and taking them off, blowing their noses using a napkin.
Please take the extra time to allow
for your child to do these tasks as practice at home. Enjoy these special moments with your child.
